Le botulisme! Je vous demande un peu ? Une dizaine de cas par an et, de toute fa\u00e7on, dans des conserves \u00e0 faible teneur en acide comme les haricots, les asperges ou les betteraves. Apr\u00e8s, elle a trouv\u00e9 que nous n&#8217;avions pas de place pour ranger les pots. \u00c0 court d&#8217;arguments, elle est maintenant convertie et c&#8217;est m\u00eame elle qui a rep\u00e9r\u00e9 les pots en solde au supermarch\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Moi de mon cot\u00e9, je cherchais des abricots, mais sans en trouver qui me plussent (allez hop, un petit imparfait du subjonctif, \u00e7a fait du bien par o\u00f9 \u00e7a passe).<\/p>\n<p>En ce moment, notre sujet de conversation pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 ce ne sont pas les imparfaits, il y en aurait trop, mais les vocabulaires. On peut, semble-t-il, vivre et \u00e9changer avec 500 mots, mais en ayant une r\u00e9serve de 1000 pour ajouter \u00e0 sa compr\u00e9hension limit\u00e9e du monde qui nous entoure. Plus \u00e9duqu\u00e9, le vocabulaire s&#8217;\u00e9tendrait \u00e0 5000 mots et, pour les plus encyclop\u00e9diques d&#8217;entre nous, le vocabulaire ne passerait qu&#8217;aux alentours de 12\u00a0000 mots. Bien s\u00fbr, c&#8217;est sans compter tous les termes sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s qu&#8217;ils soient d&#8217;informatique, termes de m\u00e9tier, de botanique ou, bien s\u00fbr, de cuisine. Le vocabulaire fran\u00e7ais comprendrait aux alentours de 90\u00a0000 mots, non sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s. Le pire c&#8217;est que les anglais et leur langue simplifi\u00e9e, approximative et pr\u00e9positionnelle, en auraient 200\u00a0000! Je vous rassure c&#8217;est que leur dictionnaire comprend tous les mots qu&#8217;ils n\u2019empruntent souvent que tr\u00e8s \u00e9pisodiquement aux autres langues. Tout \u00e7a pour dire que je fais mon possible pour entretenir votre petit potager lexicologique. Je d\u00e9broussaille, au besoin, les noms de pi\u00e8ces de boucherie, les phases d&#8217;\u00e9volution du sucre, les d\u00e9nominations botaniques. Bine entre les rang\u00e9es pour bien faire fleurir chaque terme. Arrose quelque vieil hapax poussi\u00e9reux qui ne demandait qu&#8217;\u00e0 dispara\u00eetre dans un faisceau de mauvais archa\u00efsmes. Fourrage dans les greniers pour y retrouver, au fond d&#8217;une pochette abandonn\u00e9e depuis des lustres, quelques graines de polysyllabe parisyllabique que l&#8217;on pourrait remettre au go\u00fbt du jour en un n\u00e9ologisme tout aussi expl\u00e9tif que tant d&#8217;autres. Je m&#8217;amuse des homonymes, synonymes et multiples paronymes, jouant de collusions pour cr\u00e9er collisions, vagues et contrecoups. Mais, je le promets bien solennellement, je m&#8217;ing\u00e9nie surtout \u00e0 trouver le terme exact pour que chaque phrase s\u2019envole sculpt\u00e9e \u00e0 l&#8217;angstr\u00f6m pr\u00e8s.<\/p>\n<p>Tout \u00e7a pour dire que j&#8217;ai fait de la confiture de p\u00eaches et de p\u00eache blanche par-dessus le march\u00e9. Pour les moins qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois, la &#8220;p\u00eache blanche&#8221;, c&#8217;est comme \u00e7a qu&#8217;on appelle la p\u00eache qui se pratique au travers d&#8217;un trou dans la glace . Donc de la vraie confiture de p\u00eache du Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n<p>En m\u00e9moire de Neil Armstrong, j&#8217;ai fait la confiture comme on lance une fus\u00e9e. Comprenez que j&#8217;ai lanc\u00e9 l&#8217;ignition au troisi\u00e8me top et que la confiture a d\u00e9coll\u00e9 comme Apollo 11 \u00e0 l&#8217;assaut de territoires inconnus. Ce qui devait arriver arriva, la confiture a fait un grand pas dans la temp\u00e9rature et un petit pas vers la caram\u00e9lisation. Malgr\u00e9 tout, les couleurs sont all\u00e9chantes, attirantes, attrayantes, aguichantes, tentantes et, plus que tout, app\u00e9tissantes.<\/p>\n<p>Maintenant on me surnomme &#8220;el jefe de la
